Recently Achieved Fitness Goal: Nancy lost over 35 pounds and increased her cardiovascular fitness in preparation for an upcoming hiking trip to Scotland!
How Fitness Goal Was Achieved: Daily cardio and 3x per week weightlifting at the NFC, and long walks or hikes on the weekends. Nancy also walks a 3 mile roundtrip commute to work!
Favorite Thing About the NFC: The convenience of being located downstairs from the office. She also loves the friendly and helpful staff.
Favorite Exercise: Elliptical Trainer
Favorite Healthy Snack: Frozen Blueberries
Fun Fact: Nancy paddled with an outrigger canoe club when she lived in Hawaii. Her crew placed 4th in the state championship regatta two years in a row!
Best Fitness Advice: “I’ve been inspired by a sign in the Fitness Center that says ‘If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.’ I usually repeat that to myself several times during a workout, and it always helps me push harder!”
