Recently Achieved Fitness Goal: Stepped outside her comfort zone and incorporated new moves into her routine. Also improved her tone in time for summer!
How Fitness Goal Was Achieved: Sherida used a modified 12 days of fitness routine ever since December, hiked when possible, and visited the NFC when she had time. In addition, she took a fitness assessment and created a SMART goal for her nutrition.
Favorite Thing About the NFC: Sherida is 1. Ecstatic there is a fitness center, 2. Happy the staff is engaging and approachable, 3. Encouraged to participate in group exercise/new activities, and 4. appreciative the staff helps her realize we all are awesome!
Favorite Exercise: Swimming
Favorite Healthy Snack: Cantaloupe
Fun Fact: Sherida hiked Angel’s Landing in 2016 (Went to Utah for 7 days and hiked in 5 different National/State Parks including the Grand Canyon. What a fun whirlwind!)
Best Fitness Advice: “Treat your body like a diamond. Remember that it is precious and it takes a lot of challenging circumstances to make it sparkle as it should.”
